Hi all, I'm a computer nerd with a need for speed -- less in watching motorsports and more doing. I buddy at work does track days and last year a group of us took a 2 day rally driving course, which of course only added to fuel to the file. Since I can't afford real racing, and my wife approves iRacing over many of the other games I've played, I've started into the hobby in a big way over the last 6 months.
Been married for 30 years with 6 children, 3 are still in the house, and the youngest is 10. My family is my greatest hobby, we love camping, gardening, yardwork, woodworking, drones, and all things arduino.
Welcome Daniel! Seems like you've chosen the cheaper aspect of motorsports racing, especially having a family. I hope you can get plugged in quickly and find a series that you like. We try to keep our Thursday series affordable with as much "included" content as possible. Take your time, but don't be bashful. Jump right in to any series that interests you. If you need any help don't hesitate to ask anyone.
